About Dog Cake Bakery
Dog Cake Bakery has been in development for two years. Julie Reid, the founder of the Dog Cake Bakery, has been experimenting with different ingredients that are safe for dogs for the past two years, gaining a good understanding of what will work and what will not.
As part of that, Julie has been making dog cakes for her dogs, Mr Bear and Mr Fox and other dogs in the local community. She is now ready to bring her dog cakes to the bigger dog community.
Julie makes a pumpkin and peanut butter cake. Julie has experimented with other recipe versions, and this is the cake that gets eaten. It is moist but not too heavy, which can be a factor in some dog cakes. When the cakes are heavy, the dogs do not eat them, regardless of the quality of the ingredients.
Making dogs and their Mums and Dads happy is a fantastic feeling. Bringing joy to their birthdays, along with Christmas, Easter, and Gotcha days, when they have a special need to spoil puppies, is priceless.
